The Computer Scientific Society of Spain (SCIE), the Madrid Km0 and Andalucía Málaga by Zonta Internacional and Sngular announce the second edition of the SCIE-ZONTA-SNGULAR awards. The awards aim to recognize the contribution of women pursuing doctoral studies in the area of computer science, encourage them to start their research careers and create references for new generations, thus reducing the gender gap. These awards seek to highlight the need to attract the talent of women towards research in the field of computing in Spain.
There is a prize that carries a financial prize of 1,000 Euros. Additionally, 2 second prizes will be awarded with a financial prize of 750 Euros.
The delivery of the SCIE-Zonta-Sngular Awards will take place on October 27 in the Assembly Hall of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
